PAYMENT AND REFUND TERMS

TUITION FEE

Registration Fee: This Registration Fee must be paid in full in order to progress in the enrollment process with ASI Education program and is NON-REFUNDABLE

Tuition:

For Full-Time students payment can be made in full or by semester.

For Part-Time students payment has to be made in full.

Transcripts will not be issued if tuition is not paid completely.

PAYMENT

Currency: Payments can be made in USD or in AED equivalent.

Mode: Cash, Check, Telegraphic Transfer, Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard) are all accepted payment methods.

Online Payment: The credit card should be GCC issued and transaction should be done within GCC territory.

Refund Policy: Refunds are ONLY available for tuition that has been paid in full. In order to be eligible for a refund, a parent or guardian must provide written notiﬁcation to ASI Middle East requesting to drop a course or withdraw the child from the school. It is also recommended that the student’s teacher or facilitator is contacted to discuss the reason for the course drop or program withdrawal.

Refunds are calculated based on: “Withdrawal Date” which is the postmark and/or electronic imprint date on the written notiﬁcation. Speciﬁc information on percentages available for refund is outlined:

Online Tuition Fee:

Prior to start date = 75% refund of tuition fee
Day 1-5 of start date = 50% refund of tuition fee
After day 5 of start date = 0% refund

Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment received

I/We understand that the ASI Middle East program is an accredited, online homeschool program intended to be primarily supported by a parent or another adult within the home. ASI Middle East provides a Facilitator for general support within the courses. I/We understand that to be eligible for a ﬁnal grade, our son/daughter will need to study for 6-8 hrs per day.

I/We understand that ASI Middle East will provide us twice yearly report cards.

I/We understand that if we want to change to a brick and mortar school then we must consult the school to see if they will accept us having done an accredited homeschool program.

LEARNING COACH RESPONSIBILITIES

I understand that my role as The Learning Coach (LC) is the adult in the home who will assist the student with completing their daily tasks. The amount of assistance depends on the student's grade level and the student's ability to complete work independently

Elementary School (K-5)

A strong oversight is required for students in Grades K-5. The Elementary School Learning Coach will be actively involved with the student spending an average of 3-6 hours each day. During a typical week, the Learning Coach will:

Assist with lessons
Monitor comprehension
Can modify daily schedule
Log Attendance
Comminicate with teacher

Middle School (6-8)

The type of assistance provided by the Middle School Learning Coach varies, based on the student's independence. The Learning Coach will spend an average of 2-4 hours a day. During a typical week, the Learning Coach will:

Assist with lessons
Monitor comprehension
Encourage independent learning
Log Attendance
Comminicate with teacher

High School (9-12)

The High School Learning Coach may spend less time assisting their student based on the student's ability to work independently. The average amount of time spent by the Learning Coach with a High School student is 1-2 hours a day. During a typical week, the Learning Coach will:

Assist with some lessons, varies based on student's independence
Verifies lesson completion to ensure student is on track
Supports student independence
Attends teacher conferences
